You’ve reached the point in your journey towards becoming a licensed professional in the bail industry where you can now schedule the in-person portion of thew Alabama Bail Pre-Licensing Course and take the Alabama Sate Bail State Exam.

Important Reminders:

By Alabama State Law, all prospective bail licensees, including Bail Agents, Fugitive Recovery Agents, and those holding apprentice licenses, are required to:

1. Complete the Pre-licensing Course: Successful completion of the Pre-licensing Course is mandatory. The course consists of both on-line and in-person instruction. This course equips you with essential knowledge about Alabama’s bail regulations, ensuring you’re well-prepared for your role.

2. Pass the Alabama Bail Exam: Before applying for your license, passing the Alabama State Bail Exam is a crucial step. This exam evaluates your understanding of the state’s bail laws and industry standards. This exam is given directly after the in-person class, YOU DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER SEPERATELY FOR THE STATE EXAM. You will be automatically registered to take state exam when you sign up for the in-person class.

3. Registration Deadline: Registration for the in-person Pre-Licensing class will close five days before the class date. This cut-off allows our proctors ample time to verify the completion of the online portion of the course and provides an accurate count of prospective licensees preparing to take the State Exam.

4. Agent information: When registering, please ensure that the person seeking a license fills out the “Agent” field with their information. This includes the Agent’s email address and their cell phone number. Accurate information is crucial to ensure that the licensee receives the appropriate credit.

Additionally, QR codes will be sent to the student for accessing the in-person class, and the same QR code will need to be presented when taking the State Exam. Therefore, it’s essential to ensure that the cell number provided for the course when purchasing is the one the student will have with them on the day of their in-person class.

YOU WILL RECEIVE A TEXT WITH YOUR QR CODE TO GAIN ENTRY TO THE CLASS APPROXIMATELY 2 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE THE IN-PERSON CLASS.
